This policy explains how White Wedding Taxi Hire, trading as London Taxi Weddings (www.londontaxiweddings.co.uk), collects and uses personal data. We are the data controller for the information you give us.

What data we collect
Enquiry and booking form. When you send a booking or contact enquiry through this website we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, wedding date, pick-up time, your ceremony and reception venues, and any message you write to us. If you arrive at the form from a locations page, we also record the area you selected so we can respond about that area.
Reviews. If you submit a review through the Testimonials page, we collect your name, general location, headline, and review text.
Email and phone contact. If you contact us directly by phone, email, or text, we keep the details you provide so we can reply and arrange your booking.
Technical data. Our website host keeps standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and page requests) for security and to keep the site working.
Why we use your data (and our lawful basis)
To respond to your enquiry and arrange your booking — we use your data because it is necessary to take steps before a contract with you, and then to perform that contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
To send you a confirmation of your enquiry and, where needed, to contact you about your booking — again, necessary for the contract.
To publish your review on the Testimonials page, but only with your consent, which you give by submitting the form (Article 6(1)(a)). You can ask us to remove or edit it at any time.
To keep a record of bookings and enquiries for accounting and legal purposes (Article 6(1)(c)), and to protect the website from spam and abuse (Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interests).
Who we share it with
We never sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party marketing.
Your enquiry details are stored securely in our website's managed database, hosted in the European Union, and sent to us by email so we can reply. Our website and email services (hosting, database, and email delivery providers) process your data on our behalf under data protection agreements; they act only on our instructions.
Your reply-to email address is included when we receive your enquiry, so our reply reaches you directly. Details you give us (such as venue addresses) are used only to plan and provide your transport.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted after 12 months. Booking records and related correspondence are kept for up to 6 years after the wedding date, so we can meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
Reviews stay published until you ask us to remove or amend them.
Technical logs are kept only for a short period (typically up to 30 days).
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data deleted (in some circumstances); restrict or object to how we use it; ask us to transfer your data to another provider where technically possible; and withdraw consent (for example, for a published review) at any time.
